Introducing children, from a very early age, to the content and meaning of God's work, from the Creation to the testimony of the Church in the 1st century, is the mission entrusted to the families and the Church of every generation. To help them meet this challenge, Sur le chemin offers, in fourteen booklets, a three-year teaching program that covers the entire biblical history from Genesis to the book of Acts.
Pedagogical, clear, and respectful of the biblical text, each booklet provides the teacher with all the elements necessary for the preparation and facilitation of their teaching sessions: notes on the biblical texts, visual aids, and manual activities adapted to each age group: 3-5 years, 5-7 years, and 7-9 years.
Through the great figures (Abraham, Moses, Joshua, David, Elijah and Elisha, Daniel, Nehemiah, Peter, Paul...), the major events in the history of God's people (Creation, fall, flood, exodus, conquest, exile, incarnation, Easter, Pentecost...) and the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, it is above all the character of God and His work of salvation for us that teachers are invited to transmit to the children.
With Premiers pas intended for toddlers, the Sur le chemin series for 3-9 year olds, En route for 9-11 year olds, and Vers le Royaume for 11-14 year olds, you have a complete catechetical teaching program that can be used at home, in church, or in children's clubs.
