About CLC Canada
For over 70 years, CLC Canada has been working to make the Word of God and Christian literature accessible to all.
As part of its mission, the CLC promotes the sale of books by independent authors by providing them with services "Deposit or consignment"; this is the process by which an author or independent supplier places their work or articles for sale in CLC bookstores according to applicable agreements.
Before putting the books on sale, we subject them to an evaluation process to ensure the quality and excellence of their content. Therefore, the CLC has established a reading committee that examines and verifies that the works meet the basic criteria of a relevant Christian book.
Our reading committee plays an essential role: it evaluates, recommends and highlights the works that will nourish the faith and spiritual growth of our readers.

Your responsibilities
- Read regularly the books offered by CLC;
- Share your opinion through a simple reading summary;
- Respect deadlines to ensure the smooth running of the selection process.
Desired profile
- To be a believer and committed to your spiritual life;
- Possess a solid knowledge of the Bible and theology;
- Having experience in the field of publishing or writing;
- Having skills in manuscript evaluation;
- Having previously served in a similar context.

The members of the reading committee are volunteers of CLC Canada, therefore subject to the benefits program offered to all volunteers.
