The Book of the Prophet Zephaniah – Jacques Gloaguen
In this study dedicated to the prophet Zephaniah, Jacques Gloaguen explores a biblical message marked by both the gravity of judgment and the promise of salvation. A prophet of the kingdom of Judah, Zephaniah calls the people to become aware of their distance from God and to return to Him with humility.
The author highlights the main themes of the book: the day of the Lord, divine justice, repentance, seeking God, and the hope of restoration. Beyond the warnings addressed to the nations and the people of Judah, Zephaniah’s message reveals a God who desires to purify, gather, and renew His people.
An accessible and enriching study that helps the reader better understand the context and significance of the book of Zephaniah, while inviting them to reflect on the holiness of God, repentance, and the hope He offers.
