Theological and practical approaches to socio-environmental issues
The theme of ecology is often treated in isolation, disconnected from other realities and generating simplistic and not very nuanced thinking. By connecting agriculture in the West, humanitarian aid, Church life and theology of creation, the texts collected in this work offer tools to develop a more complete opinion and practice that is closer to the reality of the ecological issue.
The very varied expertise of each of the contributors – theologian, man of the earth, politician, member of NGO or Church leader – gives this work a specific color combining reflections and proposals for practical application, theological considerations and concrete examples. The latter are thus anchored in a biblical perspective and a holistic reflection which touch on the reality of our daily life and which allow applications within the reach of all.
