The Epistle to the Romans has always been one of my favorite books. It contains the most complete explanation of God’s plan for salvation that we can find in the Scriptures. The clear and relevant logic, as well as the practical nature of the teaching provided therein, make this book a delight to study but also to preach. But more than that, this epistle contains the Gospel, which is “the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes” (Romans 1:16). It is my prayer that God uses this book to make known to people His love and the salvation that can only be found in Jesus Christ.
