Wisdom holds an important place in the Bible, particularly in the writings generally classified in this category (Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Ecclesiastes, Song of Songs) but also in other books of the Old and New Testaments. However, we may wonder about its presence in contemporary Christian reflection and practice: is biblical wisdom a category that is too often neglected? By tracing the sources of biblical wisdom and listening to the sages of the Scriptures, the authors of this collective book ask how to acquire and implement an evangelical wisdom in today's situations. Could this wisdom, in fact, open up new avenues of reflection and action for Christians, to better live and proclaim the Gospel in the world today?
The authors place their exegetical, as well as dogmatic, ethical, and practical skills, at the service of this immersion in biblical wisdom.
