Spirit Hermeneutics by Craig Keener invites us to reread the Scriptures in an experiential, eschatological, and missionary way. This 608-page paperback combines rigorous biblical scholarship with an openness to the experience of the Holy Spirit to transform our approach to scriptural interpretation.
Craig Keener draws on the global Pentecostal tradition to show how to draw on the Spirit, develop disciplined reading habits, and understand contemporary debates on hermeneutics. He demonstrates that a fresh, new look at biblical interpretation is not only possible but necessary for an authentic Christian reading.
