THE TORN VEIL is, in my opinion, the most precious commentary on the Epistle to the Hebrews, too often neglected by certain Christians under the pretext that it was addressed to believers of Jewish origin.
Both simple and learned, accessible to all, it denotes a profound knowledge of Sacred Scripture and a fervent love of the Lord. He never ceases to bring our eyes and our thoughts towards JESUS CHRIST, the One who is at the center of our faith, Jesus, whom we think we know, but whom we always need to learn to know better, in order to live better in the fullness of faith, that is to say “normal Christian life”.
Pierre Widmer, editor, Montbéliard.
There is no need to follow Andrew Murray in all his exegesis to gain much from his study of the Word. What matters is not the schematization of experiences, but the search for sanctification: THE TORN VEIL draws us there with a force rarely equaled. Its reading is a landmark in the life of the Christian.

A remarkable practical commentary.
