“In your efforts to win the next generation to Christ, you may surprise them with your insight, your humor, or your appearance. But you can also amaze them with the greatness of God.”
Kevin DeYoung
Inspired by a desire to reach the next generation, we often resort to gimmicks, trivialities, or simple moralizing speeches. Yet, it is not with these superficial and flashy approaches that we truly touch the hearts of young people, but rather by embodying the example of Christ as best as we can through a life that reflects his teachings.
In this concise guide, Kevin DeYoung outlines five Christ-centered ways to effectively present the Christian faith to the next generation: captivate them with passion, win them over with love, encourage them with holiness, challenge them with truth, and amaze them with the greatness of God.
