The danger behind the magic. Harry Potter and his magical adventures as an apprentice wizard continue to fascinate millions of people around the world. Merchandise such as trading cards, role-playing games, clothing, and even furniture have flooded the market.
However, several questions must be asked: does Harry offer positive moral lessons for today's children? Is Harry's magick* actually fiction, or is it based on real occultism? How do Harry's stories compare to other works of fiction like those of C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien?
In this useful and easy-to-use book, Richard Abanes answers these questions, provides a scathing critique of America's not-so-subtle drift toward paganism, and examines the reasons why God says no to the occult.
Harry Potter and the Bible will help you make informed choices for your family.
* The word "magic" here refers to stage sleight of hand, while "magick" refers to occult practices.
