Biography of James O. Fraser, Missionary to China
James O. Fraser (1886-1938), a brilliant and cultured young man, was only 22 when he renounced a promising career to go and preach the Gospel to the Lisu hill tribes in China's southwestern Yunnan province. He would dedicate his life to them and become an instrument used by God for their conversion and for the planting of the Lisu Church.
Eileen Crossman, his second daughter, was born in China and spent her early childhood among the Lisu people. Only 5 years old at the time of her father's death, she later carefully reviewed the numerous diaries he left behind, which became the basis for this book.
More than just a biography, this account, though belonging to the past, is a masterful encouragement to grow in faith and in an ever-deepening life of prayer. To be read, meditated upon, and put into practice daily today!
