God, who has called us to his kingdom and glory, teaches us to prepare ourselves so that he may work through us. Faith is the firm assurance that he will honor his Word. His Word is established in heaven forever. It proclaims our victory. It is to the extent that it is established in us that we are strong.
In Chapter 1, you will discover the importance of the righteousness we have in Jesus. Conquering faith is based on the revelation of our identity. We are ONE spirit with Jesus. Chapter 2 shows the close connection between authority and faith. Authority is the right to use power. Jesus gave us the authority to speak on Earth in his name. We must be fully persuaded of the things the Father shows us. The testimony of the Spirit must override that of our natural senses. Chapter 4 speaks of the power of the imagination. Believing is seeing. He who cannot see what God shows is not in faith. Also, it will be difficult for him to transfer what he already possesses from there to here. The thing must be within us first before being manifested outside. Chapter 5 shows the importance of our words. God has promised to establish what we decree. Faith speaks. It says what God says. It is through the Word of God in our hearts and also in our mouths that we change things.
