This work focuses on 52 remarkable women in Scripture—women whose struggles to live with faith and courage are no different from our own. Far from being cardboard cutouts, they inspire us as much through their failures as through their successes.
You will see how God acts in surprising and wonderful ways to draw them to himself. This book unfolds a one-of-a-kind calendar, combining storytelling, information, Bible study, divine promises, and prayer.
Each week quickly becomes a sort of personal retreat, centered on a particular woman: Monday: the story, Tuesday: the life and customs of her time, Wednesday: her place in the Scriptures, Thursday: Bible promises, Friday: how to pray in light of her story.
WOMEN OF THE BIBLE offers a program specifically designed for prayer and study, whether individually or in small groups.
