Questions about women's ministries
Many women gifted in leadership and aspiring to serve the Christian community do not feel free to do so. Does gender determine a person’s ministry in the Church? On what basis do we decide?
To help everyone think about these questions, the author explores the Scriptures and the different interpretations of the “difficult” passages on this subject. It allows us to clearly differentiate the biblical spirit from the “traditional” vision of femininity, resulting from the influence of first century culture on the early Church. The Church must fully live the good news of the gospel, transmitting the values of Christ to all times and cultures.
This guide, intended for both Christian women and men, is suitable for individual reading as well as for use within a group. It encourages overcoming stereotypes and implementing effective changes with the greatest respect for all, whatever their beliefs.
This reflection will bring new hope and renewed vitality to many Christian communities.
