We too often confine God to the religious world and the private sphere, but he is a worker and he uses many different trades to present and describe himself. We thus discover not only a God who is a shepherd, a winegrower, a teacher, an artist, or a judge, but also a God who is a tamer, an insurer, a cheesemaker, a concierge, a gravedigger, or a hairdresser, and all of this is found in his Word.
God is present in all spheres of society and he invites us to move beyond our dualism to restore to him his rightful place as Lord of all life.
The series Nature and character of God It addresses, in small, easily accessible books, the different attributes of the God of the Bible in order to root us in who he truly is, to fully reflect him and to worship him knowingly.
“I will give them a heart to know me, the Lord. They will be my people and I will be their God, if they return to me with all their heart.” (Jeremiah 24:7)
