The evangelization of the world is the most imperative duty of the faithful Church, especially in our time so full of threats and warning signs of the end. It is not in eternity that we will be able to announce to sinners salvation through the cross of Christ; it is now, it is today that we must make known to men the love of God for them. All to work, beginning with our parents, our relatives, our neighbors, our compatriots, our friends, our enemies! ... Whoever wants to be a missionary only when he has arrived in some distant country, and is not one in the city or village where God has placed him, will probably never be one. Let us evangelize by word, by pen, by conduct above all; and let us water our labors with earnest and believing prayer. "For the night is coming, when no one can work" (Jn 9:4).
