How would you react if you woke up one morning knowing that it was your last day on earth? This is what happened to the thief on the cross, who died a few meters from Jesus. Heaven, why me? is his story, told in his own words. From the sky where he is, he looks back on the day that changed his eternal destiny, and on faith, which can also change yours.
Colin S. Smith is the senior pastor of Verger Evangelical Free Church in suburban Chicago. His pastoral ministry is shared between the church, the daily radio program Unlocking the Bible and his website unlockingthebible.org .
