The Bible and ecology

We rarely associate the Bible and ecology. And Christians have not always stood out for their concern for protecting the environment.

On the contrary ! Under the pretext of better “dominating and subduing” the earth, they have often exploited natural resources without measure.

Some even think that it is useless to save our planet which will one day be replaced by “new heavens and a new earth”… But what precisely does the Bible say on this subject? And did the coming of Jesus Christ into the world abolish the human mission of cultivating and guarding the earth?
