What, fundamentally, is Christianity? Many ask this question, convinced that it is a good religion, but one that lacks intellectual rigor. In this book, John Stott examines the tenets that form the foundations of Christianity. He presents the Christian faith rigorously, drawing on the person and work of Jesus Christ.
John Stott (1921-2011) was a well-known evangelical Anglican theologian. He authored over forty books, and his influence on the Christian church was considerable worldwide. He played a major role at the International Congress on World Evangelization (ICWEM) held in Lausanne in 1974. He was the chief architect of the Lausanne Declaration , which has become a landmark document for evangelical Christians.
