What are the possibilities for man to experience real happiness in the world as it is? If contemporary philosophical concepts serve as a starting point for this investigation into happiness, it is to better highlight the perspective to which the biblical text opens up for us: that of a God who, not devoid of emotions, comes to respond to man in search of happiness.
