The goal of this book is to paint a portrait of the mature Christian in ten brushstrokes, by detailing the ten traits that characterize them. This portrait, which represents the destination, the goal to be reached, will therefore stimulate our action.
This maturity is not an option reserved for an elite. It is God's will for us. All the exhortations to a life of holiness and maturity in Christ are addressed to the people of God in their entirety, without exception. If the Lord takes the time to describe to us in detail the new life to which we are called, it is so that we may enter into it and live it, from this moment on.
May this portrait of the mature Christian increase in each of us the desire to progress from strength to strength and to resemble Christ more each day!
