"Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth." Psalm 50:2
It happens too often that the biblical command to proclaim the Gospel arouses a sense of insecurity or fear rather than an overflowing joy that compels believers to make Jesus Christ known to others. How can Christians overcome this fear and boldly fulfill the Great Commission?
In God Shines Forth, Daniel Hames and Michael Reeves explain that healthy and fruitful evangelism is the result of knowing the Lord and the joy He provides. By awakening in us a sense of gratitude for the glory of God, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, and the future hope of the Church, Hames and Reeves encourage us to nurture an overflowing adoration for the Lord, which will help us let the truth of God shine forth in the world.
