Who is Jesus Christ really? While Christianity and Islam both speak of Jesus, their teachings about his person and his mission are profoundly different.
In Jesus in the Quran and the Bible, Karim Arezki compares biblical and Quranic testimonies to enable the reader to clearly discern these differences. The book particularly examines the identity of Jesus, his birth, his ministry, his death, and the place accorded to him in each of the two traditions.
For the Christian, this comparison allows for a better appreciation of the richness of the biblical testimony regarding Jesus, the Son of God, the Savior and the Lord, while precisely understanding what the Quran asserts about him.
Accessible and particularly useful for those who wish to engage in dialogue, this book serves as an interesting resource for deepening one's knowledge.
A relevant read for anyone eager to better understand the fundamental differences between the biblical revelation and the Quranic teaching concerning Jesus Christ.
