When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds cheered him with cries of "Hosanna!" and "Blessed is the King!". A few days later, the same crowds were shouting "Crucify him!". On the third day after his death, it was a huge surprise for all his disciples to learn that Jesus was alive. It is this wonderful, joyful, and surprising news that is celebrated at Easter.
Like the other books in the "I Learn a Bible Verse" collection, The Most Wonderful Surprise will help young children memorize words from the Bible and discover that Jesus is the King of kings who gave his life for us and rose again.
