These exercises complement the Biblical Hebrew Course, a textbook that enables students to acquire all the knowledge necessary to read the biblical text in the original language.
For learning Hebrew, it is essential to do and redo translation exercises. Those offered in this booklet, accompanied by their answer keys, will be very useful especially to readers working through the course on their own. They will be able to put the acquired knowledge into practice and verify their understanding of the rules by consulting the exercise answer keys at the end of the booklet.
Holding a degree in Modern Hebrew from the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations (Paris), Dany Pegon has been teaching Biblical Hebrew for almost thirty years at the Nogent Biblical Institute. She authored the Biblical Hebrew Course and these New Exercises with Answer Keys, both for classroom use and for individual study.
