In Vision of Heaven and Hell, a work attributed to John Bunyan, the author describes how, through a dream, an angel takes him to visit heaven, then hell. In the kingdom of God, the prophet Elijah describes to him the infinite and eternal happiness of the redeemed who live in the glorious presence of God.
In hell, he meets damned souls who are constantly cruelly tormented by demons.
This book reveals to us very clearly what each person will experience for eternity: the terrible sufferings of hell or the ineffable heavenly life.
