Learn to love as Jesus loves
Wherever we look, we are forced to see a great deficit of love. Terrorism and corruption, street shootings and wedding wrecks, online “snipers” and defamation, all prove that we do not know how to love one another as Jesus commanded and illustrated. We put our own interests, comfort, and happiness above all else, although the greatest happiness comes from sacrificial love.
A very different happiness will show you a path, albeit a narrow one, on which you will learn to love like Jesus. It is a love that goes far beyond simple kindness and service to others. It is a love that connects with others in such a way that they feel heard, noticed and appreciated. A love that sacrifices itself, suffers and continues to love, whatever the cost. This type of love is the one shown to us by our Creator and Redeemer. It's the one worth fighting for in all our relationships
