The Book of the Prophet Jonah – Jacques Gloaguen
In this study dedicated to the prophet Jonah, Jacques Gloaguen explores a biblical narrative rich in lessons on God’s mercy, obedience, and the universal scope of His love. Through the mission entrusted to Jonah to the city of Nineveh, the reader discovers the tensions between divine will and human resistance.
The author highlights the book's major themes: God’s call, flight, repentance, forgiveness, and compassion toward the nations. The commentary also invites reflection on a believer’s attitude toward the grace granted to others and God’s patience toward those who turn away from Him.
An accessible and enriching study that helps to better understand the book of Jonah and rediscover a timeless message about mercy, obedience, and the heart of God.
