Here are collected 21 testimonies from former nuns. They were in the orders, they left them. What happened to make them abandon their “vocation” and leave the convent? From diverse origins, they believed that the best way to serve God and please him was to become religious. Several of them were cruelly disappointed by life in the convent, and above all, despite all their devotions and good works, they were never able to achieve assurance of salvation. However, the God who said: “You will seek me and you will find me, if you seek me with all your heart” (Jeremiah 29:13) revealed himself to them through his Word and made them know peace and joy to which they aspired so much.
