Our emotions: we love them, we hate them, but we cannot ignore them. They are sometimes wonderful, other times horrible, depending on the times and circumstances. it can happen that we have the impression that they are manipulating us, that we are at their mercy. Wouldn't God have been wise to create us without emotions?
But we can't help it: God created us with the capacity to feel. Our emotions, the way in which we can understand them, manage them and put them at the service of God: this is the project of this book. In the Christian life, maturity comes through an assumed and balanced emotional life. So how can we grow emotionally?
Emotions will be approached from a biblical point of view, in their relationship to faith, to praise, to church life, taking into account the reality of the ups and downs of our feelings. Our emotions are part of us: understanding them, and understanding what our Creator tells us about them, is essential for a happy and balanced life.
