Who are the Christian leaders of tomorrow?
Churches and Christian organizations will need to fill fifty thousand strategic ministry positions in the next five to ten years. But what will be expected of these leaders, and who will prepare them for it?
If you are a new leader or have the unique opportunity to mentor an emerging leader, you know the high expectations and changing demands in these various ministry positions. In Mentoring Leaders, Carson Pue offers reliable and safe guidelines to prepare you for this service. It candidly discusses the spiritual aspects of Christian leadership development to help you strengthen your character, calling, and competence.
Drawing on his wealth of experience, Carson Pue leads the way in connecting leaders with mentoring relationships that will help both young and older leaders develop their full potential for the Kingdom.
Leighton Ford, President, Leighton Ford Ministries
What I appreciated about this book is that each chapter leads the reader to determine the stage of leadership they are at and offers several questions to help them in their reflection. I found this book challenging and thought-provoking for leaders who are willing to self-examine and determined to change their behaviors to fully live out the calling God has placed on their lives. This book is absolutely worth reading.
Pierre Bergeron, leadership and mentoring consultant
Mentoring Leaders affirms my belief that personalized mentoring is one of the fundamental keys to preparing Christian leaders. This book could well ignite the spark that will produce the necessary flame to commit us ever more fully to our mandate to train the next generation of leaders.
