Gordon Margery was born in 1947, near London. He was part of church planting teams and then founded a church in Rennes. He then became pastor of a larger multicultural church, in Ozoir-la-Ferrière, then in Faremoutiers (77) before retiring. A teacher at the IBG, he also chaired for several years the council of the Evangelical Association of French-speaking Baptist Churches. With his wife, Avril, they have three children and three grandchildren.
