The new souls, like the Church, constitute a cosmopolitan population having in common faith in Christ and the call to be saints.
Elders in the faith are called to lead them in the ways of the Lord with a view to their full integration into the local church.

Monitoring young converts involves providing primary care to new souls who have just come into the faith. The first days in Christ are an important stage in the Christian walk during which the foundation for discipleship is laid. During this period which, for Professor Zacharias Tanee FOMUM, should not exceed three months, the young convert benefits from the spiritual help necessary to overcome the attacks of the forces of darkness against his survival and his evolution in the faith.
