It is very important to read, know and meditate on this psalm. It contains excellent doctrine on the main points of Christianity. It deals with, among other things, true repentance, sin, grace, justification, and true worship that pleases God.

Martin Luther was born on November 10, 1483 in Eisleben, Germany. He was ordained a priest in 1507 and became a doctor of theology. He quickly acquires the conviction that man can only be saved by his faith and not by his good deeds. Luther then began to very openly criticize the practices of the Catholic Church. In 1517, he posted his 95 theses on the door of the church in Wittenberg. This event has traditionally been considered the starting point of the Protestant Reformation. Martin Luther was excommunicated by Pope Leo X in 1521. However, he continued his work of studying and translating the Bible. Luther died in 1546 in Eisleben.
