Christian ethics and daily life

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared in advance, that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
Living with your conscience is not a treatise on the art of living which would best accommodate a conscience freed from “the thoughts which sometimes accuse us and sometimes defend us” (Romans 2 v.15). No recipes for anesthesia, self-defense against this inner voice. This art does not exist... In the list of vague and difficult notions, consciousness undoubtedly figures prominently. It is the source of many errors, from excessive guilt to boundless license. Very real and yet intangible, it changes depending on the moment and the individual. Yet it is mentioned in the Bible as one of the ways God speaks to us and can guide us if we develop it in the right way. It is not a moral book, nor a theological approach to the subject. Based on the teaching of Scripture and the author's lived experience, this book addresses topics as pragmatically as possible:
  • honesty and ethics in the world of work and business;
  • the problem of peer pressure;
  • honesty in the home;
  • honesty with oneself;
  • sexual morality;
  • develop your beliefs on a biblical basis.
